Tidbits

  • Sleepover at Ikea - Maybe this is the only way to get to the $1 early enough…

  • A ramen bath - Japanese spa with special baths resembling instant noodles.  I wanna play!

  • Old age homes for dogs - 1) Old dogs don’t like to be abandoned at strange places.  2) Playing with young puppies will probably cause the older dogs to die faster due to exhaustion.

  • A remote-controlled pigeon - Oh the poor thing…

  • An article on a brilliant method of teaching grade schoolers about bats and rabies.  I smell a lawsuit.

  • Will trade beer for Crumpler bags.  Tempted by the beanbag and messenger bags…

Year of the Fire Dog Continues…

January 31, 2006, 9:21 pm

DOG (1994, 1982, 1970, 1958, 1946, 1934, 1922, 1910)
This is your year. Take better care of your health. Rest and exercise well. Drive carefully. However, there is a lucky sign that will help you through most troubles. At work, you get on well with your superior and elderly people. You do well with design or artwork. Do not change jobs or start a new business. As for wealth, the better known you are, the more money you can make. Do not gamble or speculate. Your romantic relationships may be somewhat volatile. Beware of a third party coming between you and your loved one. Regarding health, you tend to tire easily. Watch out for problems involving your liver and gallbladder.

Umm, how do you call this “our year” when nothing really goes that great. Still better than the lucky rats who are “prone to bleeding or you may have to undergo surgeries.” Check out more wacky fortunes at The Star.

And my birth chart:

You are Red Dragon, born in the year of Black Dog. The first character in DAY represents you. So you are equivalent to Fire. Your lucky element is Wood.

Drink Ready-to-drink Flavored Milk Beverage, Love Life

Finally found Natrel Warmers on sale at Sobey’s. Since reading a review for them way back when, I’ve been looking for it. Mmm… Green tea…

Weekend Plans

This weekend is also the second dcevents trip. Going to Jays Peak, leaving Thursday night and coming back Sunday at midnight. Means another two days off work. The weather haven’t been the greatest for snowing this season, and with the Tremblant strike when there was good snow, it’s been a pretty disappointing year.

Also going to be pretty busy on the Monday after the trip. Prolly going to get a haircut, finally, and then Winterlicious dinner with family at Canoe. At least now I know how to navigate the stupid parking!
