Tidbits

  • Sleepover at Ikea - Maybe this is the only way to get to the $1 early enough…

  • A ramen bath - Japanese spa with special baths resembling instant noodles.  I wanna play!

  • Old age homes for dogs - 1) Old dogs don’t like to be abandoned at strange places.  2) Playing with young puppies will probably cause the older dogs to die faster due to exhaustion.

  • A remote-controlled pigeon - Oh the poor thing…

  • An article on a brilliant method of teaching grade schoolers about bats and rabies.  I smell a lawsuit.

  • Will trade beer for Crumpler bags.  Tempted by the beanbag and messenger bags…

Words of Wisdom from Sichuan

October 29, 2006, 12:35 am

I have almost 5 GB of photos to go through from two cameras, though fortunately, that only translates to around 2500 actual photos. Taking away the photos of signs and other misc objects taken with the small camera to help me keep track of names of locations, and I’m sure I’m only left with 1500 potential "good" photos to archive. I’m going to divide them by location, and pick out the highlights from each place. (This is turning into a more frustrating task than I thought, as Adobe Lightroom is choking on the files.) I’ll start with the easy stuff and pick out amusing sights.

Let’s start with a collection of amusing signs.
