Sleepover at Ikea - Maybe this is the only way to get to the $1 early enough…
A ramen bath - Japanese spa with special baths resembling instant noodles. I wanna play!
Old age homes for dogs - 1) Old dogs don’t like to be abandoned at strange places. 2) Playing with young puppies will probably cause the older dogs to die faster due to exhaustion.
A remote-controlled pigeon - Oh the poor thing…
An article on a brilliant method of teaching grade schoolers about bats and rabies. I smell a lawsuit.
Will trade beer for Crumpler bags. Tempted by the beanbag and messenger bags…
Came back to Brampton for Father’s Day. We had dinner early at a Shanghai restaurant across from Market Village. On the way home on the 401, we saw this flying wheel come bouncing high across the lanes ahead of us, over the middle divider and into the incoming lane. Traffic was going at regular speed (100 km/hr) and I was amazed that the wheel didn’t hit anything, even though it bounced across like the entire width of the 401 in normal traffic. Even more amazing, we then passed the car the wheel came from, a pickup with the front left wheel missing entirely, pulling to a stop on the shoulder, on three wheels and essentially the brake disc. I’ve heard of wheels flying off trucks before, but I’ve assumed they were the secondary wheels, the ones that doesn’t touch the ground. How does a firmly grounded wheel fall off a car? And at the speed the guy was going in, how was he able to safely pull over to the side with only three wheels? I mean, this is not like a flat tire, the entire wheel, rims and all, fell off! I still can’t believe it didn’t hit anything! Our lucky day I guess.
