Sleepover at Ikea - Maybe this is the only way to get to the $1 early enough…
A ramen bath - Japanese spa with special baths resembling instant noodles. I wanna play!
Old age homes for dogs - 1) Old dogs don’t like to be abandoned at strange places. 2) Playing with young puppies will probably cause the older dogs to die faster due to exhaustion.
A remote-controlled pigeon - Oh the poor thing…
An article on a brilliant method of teaching grade schoolers about bats and rabies. I smell a lawsuit.
Will trade beer for Crumpler bags. Tempted by the beanbag and messenger bags…
Mike left his headlights on again this morning, and drained the battery… again… It was rather difficult trying to find people with a car that’s still at work at 7:30. It seems most of the poor suckers still working are these single dudes that live so close to work, they just walk everyday. Sigh. So after a boost, we had to drive around to charge the battery.
Decided to check out the Laurel Creek residential area again. Less than one year later, and the urban sprawl is worse than ever. Reminded me of Sauga. There was even a new elementary school there now. I’m not that fond of that neighbourhood anymore, the houses are way too similar. Discovered a nicer area at the end of Columbia instead. Much more unique houses. Alas, I’m not looking to buy property any time soon.
Mike also got a scale from Linens ‘n Things (Stop sending us 20% coupons already!!) Sigh, no more claiming ignorance for me.
So: one dead battery = joy ride + $60 dinner at Caseys + $60 of consumer goods.
