Sleepover at Ikea - Maybe this is the only way to get to the $1 early enough…
A ramen bath - Japanese spa with special baths resembling instant noodles. I wanna play!
Old age homes for dogs - 1) Old dogs don’t like to be abandoned at strange places. 2) Playing with young puppies will probably cause the older dogs to die faster due to exhaustion.
A remote-controlled pigeon - Oh the poor thing…
An article on a brilliant method of teaching grade schoolers about bats and rabies. I smell a lawsuit.
Will trade beer for Crumpler bags. Tempted by the beanbag and messenger bags…
Not even New Years yet, and our fake plastic Xmas tree from Canadian is already down and packed away. A record for us, as previous years we’ve left it up for months, complete with still-wrapped and unclaimed presents under the tree.. And I don’t think we would be putting it up next year…
Why? Cause Duchy poked her eye on the branches, costing us $90+ in vet fees. At least, we think it’s from the tree. I spotted her bloodshot eye on Sat, which is close enough to when my dad put the tree up. (Hmm, do normal bloodshot eyes smell like blood? That’s how I noticed it on the dog anyways..) We were joking about how the dog was lacking sleep due to my weird sleeping hours.. But her one eye was still red today, so took her to see the vet. Apparently she scratched off a bit of the top layer on her cornea, and needed antibotic eye drops and pain killers. Vet even wanted to put a cone collar on her, so she won’t scratch/rub, but we passed. Poor Duchy, there was slight indication that it won’t heal properly and would required more invasive procedures, we’ll know more at her next appointment on Tuesday..
Oh, and we got a new microwave right…
Trying to get large groups of people together for stuff is difficult. They are either too: a) busy, b) lazy and uninterested, or c) don’t check their emails. Oh well..
