Sleepover at Ikea - Maybe this is the only way to get to the $1 early enough…
A ramen bath - Japanese spa with special baths resembling instant noodles. I wanna play!
Old age homes for dogs - 1) Old dogs don’t like to be abandoned at strange places. 2) Playing with young puppies will probably cause the older dogs to die faster due to exhaustion.
A remote-controlled pigeon - Oh the poor thing…
An article on a brilliant method of teaching grade schoolers about bats and rabies. I smell a lawsuit.
Will trade beer for Crumpler bags. Tempted by the beanbag and messenger bags…
Well this was a very nice and warm weekend for hanging around the Loo. Of course, Mike had to pick this weekend to bring his bike in for repairs, and it won’t be ready for 10 days. So much for biking around the city. Instead, I went to work (gasp!), and made cheesecake. Now that I know what goes into a cheesecake, I don’t think I’ll be all that eager to order a slice for dessert next time. 1 cup of sour cream, half a cup of sugar, and TWO tubs of cream cheese. Made the mistake of eating one right out of the oven. It tasted almost exactly like that carrot souffle I made a while back. I was starting to worry that everything I bake will taste like spongy sugary wet mush. Or maybe it’s Mike’s blender.. But no, after refrigerating them, they became much more cheesecake-like.
Sunday, walked around Laurel Creek Conservation Area for a while. During off-season, they use a self-pay booth that I don’t think anybody ever uses. They just park their car outside and walk right in. Maybe it’s worth getting a season pass though, so we can donate to the park, and be able to wander in whenever we feel like.
