Sleepover at Ikea - Maybe this is the only way to get to the $1 early enough…
A ramen bath - Japanese spa with special baths resembling instant noodles. I wanna play!
Old age homes for dogs - 1) Old dogs don’t like to be abandoned at strange places. 2) Playing with young puppies will probably cause the older dogs to die faster due to exhaustion.
A remote-controlled pigeon - Oh the poor thing…
An article on a brilliant method of teaching grade schoolers about bats and rabies. I smell a lawsuit.
Will trade beer for Crumpler bags. Tempted by the beanbag and messenger bags…
I can barely walk right now.I think I’ve gotten more exercise between Friday night and Saturday then I’ve had all summer. Friday night after work, we went biking with one of Mike’s friend. I thought it was harmless enough, just going to a community park. Breihaupt Park. Sure, it’s in Kitchener, but it’s still just a regular park right? At least we weren’t going to the Hydrocut, a popular mountain biking spot. Well we ended up going off-trail anyways, on those little nature paths that let you walk through the woods. I guess it’s fun enough, but I don’t really see myself going too hardcore into this. First, my bike is inadequate. And two, I’m way too cautious. Like seriously, I think I met my bike accident quota for a while. So yeah, 4 hour bike ride after work. It was harsh.
And then the *next* morning was my ultimate tournament. Four one hour games, back to back, from 10:30 am to 6:30. We had an hour and half break before the last game, but it didn’t do much good. And sadly, we got last place. It wasn’t fair though, as the beat the 9th place team on our third match, and then had to play them again to decide who was the loser. For that game, they brought in at least 3 new players who actually knew how to play. So they were good and rested, while our team was exhausted after playing all day. So yes, we lost pretty horribly, as usual.
We are going to have our regularly scheduled game Sunday evening, and we are playing my company’s team, no less. I don’t know if everyone will recover by then. I’m sure I won’t!
