Sleepover at Ikea - Maybe this is the only way to get to the $1 early enough…
A ramen bath - Japanese spa with special baths resembling instant noodles. I wanna play!
Old age homes for dogs - 1) Old dogs don’t like to be abandoned at strange places. 2) Playing with young puppies will probably cause the older dogs to die faster due to exhaustion.
A remote-controlled pigeon - Oh the poor thing…
An article on a brilliant method of teaching grade schoolers about bats and rabies. I smell a lawsuit.
Will trade beer for Crumpler bags. Tempted by the beanbag and messenger bags…
Man, January is barely over with, and I’m already back in consumer mode. Le sigh.
First on the list, a Dell UltraSharp LCD. Work spoiled me, and once you go dual screen, you can’t go back. It makes web development sooooo much easier. So I borrowed an 19” from my brother. Very impressed with how MacOS handles a second monitor. Now if only Parallels will support full dual screen, I’ll be happy. So Dell, please put your 17” or 19” higher-end LCDs on your Days of Deals sale, cause I need something with DVI input.
And Apple announced their coloured iPod Shuffles today. I was tempted when the grey one first came out, but figured I already have enough iPods. But but.. there’s an ORANGE one. Orange!! Ooooh how can I resist? Mike offered to paint my old stick shuffle orange. I declined.
I guess the third item on my list isn’t really on my shopping list, just my wish list. The Toyota Blade is a luxary high-end hatch from Toyota that’s exclusive to Japan. I hope it comes to North America sometime, we really lack any higher-end hatches. The Corolla is suppose to get a redesign for 2008. Though I don’t think it will ever be as nice as the 2008 Nissan Atima Coupe.
