Sleepover at Ikea - Maybe this is the only way to get to the $1 early enough…
A ramen bath - Japanese spa with special baths resembling instant noodles. I wanna play!
Old age homes for dogs - 1) Old dogs don’t like to be abandoned at strange places. 2) Playing with young puppies will probably cause the older dogs to die faster due to exhaustion.
A remote-controlled pigeon - Oh the poor thing…
An article on a brilliant method of teaching grade schoolers about bats and rabies. I smell a lawsuit.
Will trade beer for Crumpler bags. Tempted by the beanbag and messenger bags…
I am so tired today. After a week long vacation, I find myself needing another one. At least, another day off. The week started off well enough, dinner with high school friends and family. Shopping, and then bumming around the house, watching tv, movies, origami.. Bored.. And all of a sudden:
Watched “Brokeback Mountain” with KD at AMC. Mostly older couples, and a young gay one beside us. All-You-Can-Eat sushi at “Sushi on 7” with UW gang, followed by chatting at “Go For Tea” until after 1 AM. Got home at 3 AM.
Watched “King Kong” at the Coliseum with KD, Jerry, and his brother in the afternoon. Then off to Mike’s place for his elec2005 reunion at Frankie Tomatoes. Followed by karaoke at “MIX2 KTV & Billards”. We crammed 20+ people into a twenty person room, but the place didn’t care. Their English selection was pretty dated, but it was still fun. Got home after 2 AM.
Bummed around Mike’s house. Went shopping at Fairview Mall. Sportchek there’s closing, so everything is discounted. Ski jackets for $50, $70, $99, etc. Got new Burton jacket. Drove back to Brampton for my family New Years dinner, consisting of sushi tray and turkey. Drove back downtown for skating at Harbourfront Centre with KD, Cabol and Peter. Then walked over to pick up Shwu from Union, and then over to Nathan Phillips for countdown and fireworks. Crowd was as crazy as ever, the performances sucked, and the fireworks was just lame. Fireworks there gets worse every year. But that’s not the point. Back to Mike’s place around 2 AM.
Skiing at Mount St Louie-Moonstone. Got up at 7 AM. Went with Mike’s parent and uncle. KD, Larry, Cabol and Peter went in a separate car. Left hill at 3:30. Back to Mike’s place to pack, then Brampton for dinner and for me to pack, and finally back to Waterloo at 10 PM.
Had to work! Boo! Tired and sleepy..
Yup, what a hectic start to the new year…
