Tidbits

  • Sleepover at Ikea - Maybe this is the only way to get to the $1 early enough…

  • A ramen bath - Japanese spa with special baths resembling instant noodles.  I wanna play!

  • Old age homes for dogs - 1) Old dogs don’t like to be abandoned at strange places.  2) Playing with young puppies will probably cause the older dogs to die faster due to exhaustion.

  • A remote-controlled pigeon - Oh the poor thing…

  • An article on a brilliant method of teaching grade schoolers about bats and rabies.  I smell a lawsuit.

  • Will trade beer for Crumpler bags.  Tempted by the beanbag and messenger bags…

Boxing Day Adventures

December 27, 2005, 5:52 am

Sob sob! I finally lost something: my white neck tube. Sniff sniff, I’ve had that thing for as long as I can remember, 10+ years at least, and lost so easily. I was wandering Yonge (between Lawrence and Eglinton) all day, and got lazy and dumped all my stuff with Mike before trying something on, and he must not have realized my scarf was buried in the pile of clothes and bags.. Went back to the store where that happened later, but was not able to find it. Maybe I’ll try calling again later to see.. The thing is pretty cheap, but I’ve had it *forever*!!

Other than that, it was an okay day. Mostly hung around Sporting Life and Sign of the Skier. Got some boarding wear. Not too much, but my Amex card is gonna feel it, since I put $500+ skis on it to get Mike’s dad a $100 gift card. Maybe I’ll get my full 2% cashback from Costco afterall..
