Old age homes for dogs - 1) Old dogs don’t like to be abandoned at strange places. 2) Playing with young puppies will probably cause the older dogs to die faster due to exhaustion.

Another year, another year closer to 25

I guess I have less to worry about than other people, being typically a year or two younger, and being born later in the year, but still! I had my last birthday in Cali, during my last work term. Has it been a year already? What have I accomplished in that time?

Worked in the famous Silicon Valley
Visited most of California
Graduated undergrad with distinctions
Went back to North West Coast
Visited Hawaii
Had first hospital stay in my living memory
Had first broken fracture of any sort in my life
Started a full-time job
Moved in with Mike in Waterloo

I think those were the highlights of the year. Somehow, it still doesn’t feel like much happened, even though one of the most important transition in my life happened, from school to the “real world”. Seen too much of the real world during coop in the last five years I guess.

And so what’s next? What’s going to happen in this new year? Will I go back to grad school? Switch jobs? Or remain where I am? I really can’t say.
