Sleepover at Ikea - Maybe this is the only way to get to the $1 early enough…
A ramen bath - Japanese spa with special baths resembling instant noodles. I wanna play!
Old age homes for dogs - 1) Old dogs don’t like to be abandoned at strange places. 2) Playing with young puppies will probably cause the older dogs to die faster due to exhaustion.
A remote-controlled pigeon - Oh the poor thing…
An article on a brilliant method of teaching grade schoolers about bats and rabies. I smell a lawsuit.
Will trade beer for Crumpler bags. Tempted by the beanbag and messenger bags…
Finally got around to uploading the last batch of China photos. It’s been like five months. Yikes, that’s almost half a year, not that sure where some of the photos are taken now. I guess it doesn’t help that a lot of the lakes either look similar, or have similar names. I really need to start a more detailed travel blog or something, before I forget everything. I wonder how much work it is to create a mashup with Google maps and photo thumbnails like this. So many projects, so little time and motivation.
This is the new “premium casual dining” restaurant from the Charcoal Group that opened in Waterloo recently. It’s located across King from the East Sides Marios near Blue Springs, just north of Weber and King. I just recently discovered the Charcoal group of restaurant when Mike took me to del Dente for Valentine’s day, but I guess that’s another post. The rest of the places in that group occupies one building in Kitchener near Fairview Mall.
Just finished watching The Departed, and man, I don’t get it. How can a Hollywood movie that’s such a total copy of another movie get nominated for Best Picture of the Year. 2006 must have been a pretty sad year for movie making.
I have no problems…
One might wonder why such a prime location as Weber and University can have no students there during lunch time on a normal weekday. When we walked in, half the tables were occupied, but they were all obviously non-students. And for good reason.
Remember how excited I was about the new crepe place that opened at Waterloo Town Square last month? I finally got around to trying it today when we passed by Uptown on our around about shopping trip today…
